One summer afternoon, walking along Blueberry Lane, Phoebe and her friends stop to rest beside a pond and meet Andy the otter. Andy is very shy and seems uncomfortable talking to them.
Walking back home, Phoebe has another “idea” – they need to create a “bubble of joy” for Andy, something to lift his spirits. Phoebe’s friends are perplexed. What’s a bubble of joy? Phoebe explains: “Think about what you most like to do. What truly makes your heart sing and your spirits rise.”
The friends talk about Andy and what might be his bubble of joy. Phoebe has another sudden idea. Will she and the others be able to discover Andy’s bubble of joy? Can they create that experience for him and share in it?
